How do you take back your mind when your feelings try to run the show?
How do you take back your mind when your feelings try to run the show?
This is where renewal becomes real.
So often we think a renewed mind only shows up during Bible study or when we feel spiritually strong, but the real test is in the quiet moments when emotions want to spiral and tell us the loudest story in the room.
When I realized my feelings were never meant to be stronger than the truth, everything changed for me. You can shift this too, friend.
Renewal is not something you learn once; it is something you practice and live out one returning thought at a time. John 8:32 says that you will know the truth and the truth will set you free.
That means the moment your feelings start shouting at you, you have the authority to pause, notice, and return your mind to what is true.
You get to decide what you fix your thoughts on. When your thoughts drift, return quickly.
When your emotions rise up, respond with truth. When your mind spirals, step back into peace. This is how a renewed mind grows.
You are not powerless. You are not stuck. You absolutely can live with clarity, stability, and deep peace because the Spirit of God leads you into truth.
If you are ready to live renewed, not just learn about renewal, I would love to invite you deeper into this with me in the full episode A Renewed Mind Changes Everything on The Alita Reynolds Show.
I’m wildly cheering you!
