Ready to live Unoffended?
If you feel like you have been hitting a wall with God lately, do not assume it means you are failing. Sometimes it means the Lord is putting His finger on something tender that has quietly been in the way.
Offense is not always loud. Sometimes it is hidden under the surface as disappointment, frustration, unresolved hurt, or a story you keep replaying in your head.
And the tricky part is this. Jeremiah 17:9 reminds us that the heart can deceive us. So you can genuinely love the Lord and still be blind to a hardened place in your heart.
That is why this is not about shame. It is about invitation. God is kind enough to show us what is blocking closeness, so He can heal it.
Here is a simple way to start. Go to Psalm 139:23-24 and pray it slowly. Ask Him to search you. Ask Him to reveal where offense has taken root. Because Hebrews 3:13 tells us hearts are hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. Offense is not just a feeling.
It is a trap that can turn into bitterness, strife, anger, envy, and division if we do not deal with it.
The good news is you have a choice.
Jesus said in Luke 17:1 that offenses will come. Not if, when. You do not have to live held hostage by them. You can repent. You can forgive. You can let God refine you like gold purified by fire.
If you are serious about a pure heart, start here. Ask Him to reveal it. Let Him refine it. And then walk free.
