Faith Starts Small, And It Changes Everything

Friends,

Every single one of us already practices faith, whether we realize it or not. You have faith that when you drive down the road, your wheels won’t fall off. You have faith that when you show up for work, you will be paid. We all place our trust somewhere.

And now you get to place your faith in Jesus Christ.

Take a moment and ask yourself, where have I placed my faith before? Then let this truth settle in: you can have faith in the One who created you and has always had a plan and purpose for your life. Jeremiah 29:11, Ephesians 2:10, and Jeremiah 1:5 remind us that you are not an accident, you are chosen on purpose, for a purpose.

The Lord has given me the spiritual gift of faith, and He even gave me the ministry named Women of Faith! I did not come up with that. He did. One day I will tell you the miracle story of how I came to be the President of Women of Faith, because it could only have been God.

But for today, let us do what we are called to do, live as Women of Faith.

What does that mean? If He says it, we must believe it.

In my own life, God has proved Himself trustworthy again and again.

Jesus healed the sick, and He has done that for me.

Jesus performed many miracles, and He has done that for me too.

God promises to provide and protect, and my whole life is a testimony to this. I have faith He will continue to provide and protect for as long as I live.

EVERYTHING the Bible says, you can have faith that it applies to you too!!  How amazing, how cool, is that? The promises in the Bible aren’t just for others, JESUS CAME FOR YOU. He came so that you could experience a fullness of life only possible when you trust in his sovereign control over everything. Your job is to believe in Him and have faith that what He says is true.

You do not want you to cherry pick your promises either. You get them all. Every promise. Every truth.

Faith does not have to be big… yet. For now it just has to be real.

You don’t have to understand it all. That’s the beauty of faith. God isn’t asking you to figure everything out, He’s asking you to believe and have faith. Even the tiniest amount of faith is enough for Him to use.

So today, I want to ask you: Will you trust Him, even when you don’t understand? Will you let your faith grow roots, spread, and take over every part of your life? Faith may start small like a tiny mustard seed, but if you nurture it, it will change everything!

I’m wildly cheering you!

Alita Reynolds
