Why You Feel Spiritually Overwhelmed

Hey sweet friends!
Have you ever come home after a long day and wanted nothing more than to slip into something comfortable? Imagine trying to put your pajamas on over the clothes you wore all day. It would not make sense, would it?
Yet this is often what we do in our spiritual lives. We try to add on new habits, new goals, new commitments for God, all while still clinging to old thoughts, unhealthy relationships, or even behaviors that quietly drain us of peace and purpose.
In Ephesians 4:17-24, Paul reminds us to put off our old selves and put on the new. He’s not just talking about the old habits or behaviors I mentioned above. He’s also referring to the inner transformation that happens when we let the Holy Spirit renew the spirit of our minds.
Sometimes, we hold onto old hurts or negative beliefs about ourselves or others that God never asked us to carry. These stand in the way of enjoying the abundant life God has in mind for each of us.
In this episode, I share six signs of an unrenewed mind and how to begin letting go of what no longer serves the life God desires for you. You will learn how to identify those thought patterns and how to replace them with life-giving truths through what I call “Morning Mindset Statements.”
This is a daily process. It does not happen overnight. But each day you choose to renew your mind, you create space for peace, clarity, and strength to take root.
I encourage you to watch the full episode, “Why You Feel Spiritually Overwhelmed and How to Renew Your Mind in Christ,” on The Alita Reynolds Show.
I’m wildly cheering you!
