What If Forgiveness is the Only Way Out?

God promises to forgive our sins when we confess them to Jesus. We don't have to go to anyone else other than Jesus. Jesus is our High Priest, and when we confess our sin, He will forgive us.
Isaiah 43:25 says, “I, yes I alone, will blot out your sins for my sake and will never think of them again.” That means God no longer remembers your sin. When we know we've sinned, we go to Jesus, we admit that we've sinned, we repent.
Repent simply means to turn away from the sin and face Jesus, choosing to change our ways, continuing to trust our lives to the one who died for our sins.
He remembers our sin no more. Let me say that again. When we sin, when we ask for forgiveness, he remembers our sin no more.
So then, since we have a great High Priest who has entered heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to what we believe. This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for he faced all of the same testings we do, yet he did not sin. So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most. Hebrews 4:14-16 NLT
