Roots That Hold You Through the Storm
One of the enemy’s favorite lies is this: You are the only one struggling. And if you were really strong, you would not feel this way. But friend, that is not the voice of God.
I shared in this episode from a deeply personal place because I want to normalize what so many of us hide. There are days you can worship with the body of believers and still come home carrying something heavy.
There are moments when you are doing all the “right” things, serving, showing up, smiling, and then you get quiet, and you weep. I have been there. And I want you to hear me clearly, emotion is not failure. God has emotion. We are made in His image.
What matters is where you turn with your emotion. David cried out in the Psalms, and even in the lament, he praised. That is rooted faith. Not polished perfection, but a heart that keeps returning to Jesus as the only hope.
And here is the beautiful part. When we share our real struggle with safe, Godly people, it opens the door for deeper connection. Vulnerability is often the bridge to true sisterhood. You do not have to carry everything alone. Find your people. Find the ones who can pour life back into you and point you straight to Jesus.
Psalm 1:3 says, They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season. Their leaves never wither, and they prosper in all they do.
If you are tired of surviving and ready to live rooted and steady, watch the entire episode called “The Secret to Hearing God More Clearly | Rooted for Life | Part 1.” Let the Lord meet you there, and let this be your reminder that you are not alone and you are not stuck.
I’m wildly cheering you!
