Break Free from Fear for Good
Hi Friend!
If you have ever carried fear in your heart, I want you to know this; you do not have to stay there.
I lived with a spirit of fear far longer than I should have, and I know how overwhelming it can feel when worry becomes the norm for every day.
But Scripture shows us a powerful truth. When our minds are renewed, fear loses its influence and peace becomes possible again.
In this week’s episode of The Alita Reynolds Show, we continue our Renewed Mind series by taking an honest look at fear.
We explore not only the everyday fears like flying, illness, or driving, but also the deeper fears that quietly shape our lives:
Fear of failure. Fear of rejection. Fear of loss. Fear of not being enough. Fear of the unknown. These fears impact our emotions, our choices, and even our identity. But they do not have to stay.
Philippians 4:8 gives us a filter by which to measure every thought. When we fix our minds on what is true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent, and worthy of praise, fear has less room to take root.
And Isaiah 26:3 reminds us that God keeps in perfect peace those whose minds are fixed on Him. When truth fills your thoughts, fear begins to fade.
In the episode, I share practical tools that have helped me walk out of fear and into freedom:
The Umpire Analogy gives you a simple way to call thoughts safe or out.
The Wave Analogy helps you step off of a fearful thought before it grows into something bigger. Daily declarations of Scripture begin to rewire your thinking so your mind aligns with the mind of Christ.
We also look at Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who walked through the fire (Daniel 3) but came out without even the smell of smoke on them. You can emerge from fear the same way, carrying the aroma of Christ instead of the smoky residue of what you have faced.
If this message speaks to you, I encourage you to watch the full episode, “Break Free from Fear for Good by Renewing Your Mind.” We can explore the topic together, and by applying the practical suggestions, you will strengthen your confidence, settle your heart, and joyfully believe that you can live with a renewed mind and a fearless spirit.
I’m wildly cheering you!
